Wells Orthodontics is an orthodontic practice offering up to the minute orthodontic treatment delivered by a highly trained and dedicated specialist led team. Our five surgeries are equipped with the latest orthodontic technology including a digital imaging centre helping our patients achieve great oral health and a sparkling smile.
Our state of the art imaging centre allows us to give you a accurate diagnosis of your needs. At the same time we can closely monitor and record your orthodontic treatment and advise you on the best course of action at every stage of the process.
The practice has a modern comfortable waiting area on the ground floor where patients can see the latest advances in orthodontic treatment on our plasma screen. Our practice is also fully accessible to disabled patients and has dedicated disabled parking. We endeavour to provide the very best care for our patients in a professional, relaxed and happy environment where patients of all ages are made to feel welcomed and valued.
Paul graduated from the University of Queensland in 1988 and worked as a general dentist for the next 9 years. He then returned to Australia to study Orthodontics at the University of Adelaide completing both the MOrth RCS (Ed.) in 1999 and the Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) in 2000.
He has worked in various practices in London and the South East before moving to Wells with his young wife and three children in 2015.
Sylvia qualified as a dentist in 2000 and later completed a Master’s degree in orthodontics. She joined the Wells team in 2021 and is known for her calm, reassuring approach, helping patients feel at ease throughout their treatment. Outside work, she enjoys sailing holidays with her family and relaxing at home with her cat, Bilbo.
Joanna qualified as an orthodontic therapist in 2011 and brings over a decade of experience treating teens and adults. She is passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles and is known for her calm, patient-focused approach. Outside work, she enjoys rowing and relaxing with a good movie.
Sophie is an orthodontic therapist who loves helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. Sophie qualified in 2024, but has been part of our team since 2014. When not at work she enjoys spending quality time with her family and taking long walks with her dog. Mum life keeps her on her toes, but there is always time for tea and cake! Sophie believes that a smile can brighten anyone's day, and she loves being part of that journey for our patients.
Joanne is an orthodontic therapist working in primary care at Wells Orthodontics and secondary care at The Royal United Hospital. When she’s not in the clinic, she’s usually training for Ironman and triathlon challenges—spending time with her growing family or unwinding with long walks with her dogs.
Robyn is a qualified dental nurse, radiographer, digital scanner, and retainer maker. She is passionate about patient care and enjoys supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey. Outside work, Robyn enjoys spending time with her family and her pets.
Molly is a qualified dental nurse, dental radiographer, digital scanner, and retainer maker, having started her career in 2019 after her own orthodontic journey. Outside work, she enjoys long walks with her dog, Boris, and attending Glastonbury Festival.”
Niamh is a qualified dental nurse, dental radiographer, digital scanner, and retainer maker. She enjoys photography and travelling, capturing different cultures, and spends her downtime watching football and rugby or building the occasional Lego set.
Charlie is a qualified dental nurse, digital scanner and retainer maker, currently training in dental radiography. Known for her bubbly nature, she helps patients feel relaxed. She enjoys time with her partner, family, dogs, and rapping along to Eminem.
Victoria joined the team in 2007 as a trainee dental nurse. Since qualifying, she has gained additional qualifications in dental radiography, oral health education, and retainer making.
Helen is the Practice Manager and a qualified dental nurse. She has worked at Wells Orthodontics since 1999. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and walking her dogs.
Diane is our Treatment Coordinator and has worked at Wells Orthodontics since 2008. She is a cheerful and caring member of the team.
Marie is one of our receptionists. Outside work, she enjoys travelling the world with her husband and spending time with her family.
